CoRE Conference 2022 Speakers

Dr. David Doran is the senior pastor of Inter-City Baptist Church and president of Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, where he faithfully lives out and teaches others the “business” of preaching.

Dr. Christopher Cone is the president and CEO of AgathonEDU Educational Group and Vyrsity, president of Colorado Biblical University and author and general editor of more than 15 books, most recently Authentic Social Justice.

Dr. Renton Rathbun is the director of the Center for Biblical Worldview at Bob Jones University and teaches in BJU’s School of Religion, having formerly been the biblical worldview specialist in Press Biblical Integration at BJU Press.

Dr. Alan Benson serves as executive vice president for student development and ministry advancement at Bob Jones University, where he applies his 25 years of local church ministry to training the next generation to embrace the Great Commission.

David Strope is the interim national representative of the GARBC, where he shares God’s Word in church and ministry settings, counsels and encourages pastors and churches, provides assistance with pastoral placement, and mentors and trains pastors.

Dr. Richard Bargas is a longtime pastor and the executive director of IFCA International, where he leads efforts to strengthen the church by encouraging and equipping ministry partnerships to accomplish Great Commission objectives.

Dr. Billy Gotcher is a recently installed “pastor-professor” at BJU Seminary, renowned for revitalizing churches and Christian institutions and developing community outreach as well as a culture of discipleship.

Dr. David Deets, formerly a pastor, now serves as vice president of The Institute of Biblical Leadership, where he helps God’s leaders develop consistency in spiritual disciplines and ministry practices through coaching, consulting, counseling and training.
