For several years, BJU Seminary has offered four of its programs completely online—(1) Graduate Certificate in Biblical Counseling; (2) MA, Biblical Counseling; (3) MA, Biblical Studies; and (4) Master of Divinity. But as of this past Fall, BJU Seminary has rolled out several new course formats that take the classroom experience to students at a distance.

One-week Advanced Module courses allow distance students to easily travel to BJU Seminary each February, June, and October and benefit from face-to-face classroom interaction with their professor. Evening flex classes allow Greenville-area students with a full life to come to BJU Seminary one day per week (Monday or Thursday) in the late afternoon/evening and complete up to 5 credits each semester (up to 10 credits if they come both evenings each week). And our newly equipped classroom allows us to take any seminary course to distance students in real-time with interactive livestream. Livestream students can ask questions, participate in discussions, and be a part of the class from anywhere in the world.

These new course formats make our programs more flexible and our courses more accessible to the adult learner, even from a distance. Our PhD is now fully available to distance students in the one-week Advanced Module format. Additionally, by combining online, livestream, and Advanced Module courses, distance students can complete an MA, Ministry Studies or an MA, Intercultural Studies.
